Wouldn't this look cute on your daughter at the cup cake store?
All of the fabrics just reminded me of something like that. It would actually be perfect for any time, anywhere this summer.. Bet it can't be worn without getting compliments! The tank is cut above the waist line, ( tank from Faded Glory brand) and patchwork squares gathered at the high waist make up for a long skirt. Any length would work ( probably) on a 4-5 year old child, as long as the top fits over the head. My 4 year old ( soon turning 5) modeled for me after the first tear was made. Caitlin, come back! I need a model again to show how the whole dress fits!!) Fabric "yo yo's" are sewn onto the tank in the front, which are embellished and finished with a small rose button in the middle. So precious!
Did I mention the skirt is lined as well, from the bottom hem, up to the middle of the second tear. Finally, I decided at the last minute to include the bustle, which is tied and bustled with a ribbon bow. ( you can change the ribbon if you'd like.) I am very excited about this dress, but now that I have it all finished, I must find time for my next project! :) I only have this one in this size. Price is 43.00 plus shipping.
Click the buy it now button to purchase.( At the bottom of the post)I just updated this to add the collage of my grand daughter modeling this dress. She will be turning 5 soon.. Hopefully you will get an idea of the size and length of this dress. Of course, length shouldn't matter too much, really, unless you want to purchase for a very very short 4-5 yr. old.:)
